Thank YOU, Sanibel Crawlers!

The Snowbirds at Sand Between My Toes , Tink at My Mobile Adventures , and Tootie at Sanibel Toot's Lazy Days made these posts about the Alaskan shot glasses I sent their way. The Internet is a funny thing....it can bring hours of frustration with slow or lost connections or dead-end research. Or the Internet can bring you in contact with wonderful people such as the Sanibel Crawlers living their dreams in Paradise. Their stories and photos keep me so entertained, and one of my fun moments of the day is to "check-in" and see what they are up to. I'm living in Paradise through their blogs. And I like it. Crawlers, thanks for bringing a little sunshine into my frozen world. Happy shelling! :)

*sigh* I remember living in Florida and going to the beach every weekend and picking up shells and shark teeth. My parents used to even go shrimping occasionally. I miss the Gulf, and all of the tropical flowers..I'd have so much fun with my camera down there now.
That was such an awesome thing for you to do, sending the shot glasses, if you cant live in paradise you can at least send the shot glasses and be toasted there :-P

You are too sweet! Thanks again for thinking of us. I guess we all entertain each other. I like taking peeks into your frosty world too. It looks beautiful. And, I like your tree, very pretty! :-)

Oh my! I just noticed that it's -3 there and it's 81 here. That is too weird.

I can give an eye witness report about how much the crawlers enjoyed your gift and note! I can also give an eye witness report that it was 81 degrees when I drove off the island on my way to (sob) detroit.

Hey sweetie - we love you! Am beaming warm, sunny thoughts in your direction. You are made of MUCH stronger stuff than I am - I'd be suffering from S.A.D. if I lived where you do, and sleeping all the time. I don't know how you do it. We salute you!

Hey Gayle, thank YOU for making me realize how lucky I am to live in my toasty warm paradise. I honestly don't know how you do it. So, if I am helping to warm up your frozen tundra just a wee bit through my blog, then I'm glad I can oblige. Again, thank you so much for the shot glasses. We all love them and will take them with us on many crawls.
