On my way to Grandma Debbi's I stopped at the Chena Pump Campground to take a photo of the sky for Sky Watch Friday. This is where the sun is on our horizon at 2:30pm. Already on it's way down.
(Actually, it doesn't really get all that high in the first place.)
This is looking down the Tanana River. Clear and cold.
Olivia at the Christmas concert. See how her doll's dress matches her own?
Isn't Lucas cute?
Here's the face I got the first time!
Debbi joined us for Emily's concert.
(See how crammed we are? I don't do so well in those situations.
And it was about 100 degrees in the gym. A bit miserable!)

You have a great family.
And I thought our sun stayed low - though I suppose you are lucky to getthat much at your latitude at this time of year. We are in evening standstill so sunset won't get any earlier now. Evening standstill after Solstice.
That just looks cold. I am griping that it is 28 degrees here in the deep south this morning.
Dang.
Later Y'all.
And I'm griping because it is 49 this am. Better you than me!!
Love the pictures of the kids. Your kids have the prettiest eyes. And Emily's dress is so pretty.
Your guys are cute, but the girls are dressed to kill! :-)
*brrrrrr*
I wouldn't do well without sunshine...It's bad enough here and we get a fair amount of sun during the day in the winter.
I don't miss the holiday concerts. LOL. The last one I went to was so bad...so so so bad. the kids were mumbling, none of them wanted to be there, the parents were packed in like sardines and it was just a miserable experience all the way around. I think they got a new music teacher this year so maybe it improved..well..maybe it would have improved if the school had been opened for the concert..oh well. Looks like Emily had fun though and thats all that areally matters :-D
