Nick has had basketball practice every single day over the holiday break. I know it's important, but it sure would have been nice to just relax during their time away from school. Add the fact that it has been -10...-20...-30....and now -40, and I'm not super excited about my mornings.
Since we had to go out anyhow, Elijah and I decided it would be a good day to go shopping. We headed down the hill to take the babies to Grandma's house.
This is over-looking Fairbanks at 30 below!
A little shopping....a little lunch.
We ate at Food Factory, and the boys think I am a major geek taking photos at the restaurant.
Headed back to the house you can see the layer of ice fog.
See the sliver of moon?
I painted a small patch of the floor to check it out. It looks much better in person.
Then we went back to town and ordered the furniture. I'm getting two of the couches, one over-sized chair and three ottomans.
I tried to take a photo across the parking lot, but the ice in the air made this photo.
Here is the place closer. We ended up being ignored for 15 minutes, left and ate at Chile's.
Steak and potatoes...
mmmmm.
Crappy photo of Nick...I tried to hurry. Like I said, he hates when I take photos in the restaurant!

I love the furniture you picked out!
That 'ice in the air' photo is a neat one! I love the furniture! It looks soooo comfy. :-) I'd say that I wish I could drop by to relax on it and visit, but I think I have to wait until the thermometer starts going in the other direction. :-)) BRRRR
Oh my gosh it is SO cold there! I really don't know how you live in such freezing weather, pretty sure I'd die!
