Wordless Wednesday

(Click the above photo for more Wordless Wednesday!)

(headed out now to refill the feeder)

(the only movement in the silence of the freezing cold were two ravens flying by)

Today is (my) almost Wordless Wednesday...

It's -17 in Fairbanks,
-22 out in North Pole where Mr. White works
and my freezer thermometer is reading -8.
I am using the thermometer out of my freezer
because I need to buy a new one.
Home Depot and Lowe's only sell ones that go to -20. HA!
I'll have to get one from a local company
that reads to -60.

My last thought on the day....
Apparently, my son has placed his skateboard on his windowsill probably not realizing that every passing motorist can see it. Nice.

Don't forget to check out the other folks
participating in Wordless Wednesday.

Or in my case, Almost Wordless.

Brrrrr. It does look cold. I'll stop complaining about the tropical 20F we had this morning!

I looove the shot of the skateboard in the window - something to smile at through the cold is always a good thing.

Our WW is of the warmer variety - although it is cold where we are right now too. One can only dream, right?

I can't even imagine being that cold. I'm just glad I don't have to imagine it. LOL. How do you stand going outside?

Wow, that's cold! We haven't had a freeze like that in years.

That second photo is awesome - the frozen twigs look amazing against the gray sky.
