Head Colds Make Me Cranky

Forrest and Scooter stayed the night with Elijah last night. Here they had just gotten home from the UAF vs Michigan hockey game where we upset the seventh-ranked team 4 to 1.

So after my soap box post yesterday I figured I should show some photos of Alaska which is why you all really come here. I packed up the camera and off we went....here we are on the 16 mile drive to this mornings soccer game....

Now we are on the 9 mile drive back the way we came to go to Forrest's house that we didn't have time to stop at the first time by because we were late for the game...

Now we are in the McDonald's drive-thru getting really healthy fries for the screaming toddlers in the back...

Yep, that's it. I quit taking photos right after I realized my driver's license is expired therefore I could not get a pass to get on post to take Nick snowboarding. What did we do? We sat in the truck for over an hour with screaming babies waiting for a ride for him. At this point in the game there's a Snot Fest going on in my head and I want to cry. I think I did. After Nick finally got picked up I tortured myself even more by going to the store on a Saturday with cranky toddlers. (I never claimed to be real bright!). By the time we were done I can tell you the great photos I was going to take of the Yak Farm and the reindeer at UAF were out of the question.

The best thing you are going to get now is the setting sun from my deck...

This BBQ is exactly how I feel....cold and useless.

I'm off to party with the Boogers in my Brain...I'll see every one tomorrow. Until then...don't eat yellow snow!
