Ruby Tuesday: Painting Picture Frames

After making pumpkin bread (you can see that on their faces) The Wee People painted picture frames because I'm the coolest Mom in the World.

OK, so that's a lie.

Am I painting with them because Olivia begged and begged? No.
Am I painting with them because it's great to be crafty with your kids? No.
Am I painting with them to be engaged in a meaningful activity? No.

I have to be honest...we're painting so I don't have to do the dishes. Yep, that's right. I figure if I work it by the time I blog, shower, they get up from naps, they bathe, dress, etc. it will be time to gather kids and go to the wrestling meet. NO DISHES! (My number one hate...next to poop cleaning). How pathetic is that? Oh, well. The Wee People don't know all that. They just think I'm the Coolest Mom! :)

We've raided Dad's closet for two stained shirts, duct taped down the paper and we are all set!

Wee Two chose orange.
Wee One is adding flowers and hearts to her frame.

Blowing drying avoids idle hands!
