Thirty-six Minutes

The drizzle finally quit. No, the sun didn't come out, but at least the rains stopped. The Wee People and I headed out to clean out a few garden beds.

Olivia pulling dead Petunias.

This face is not having fun.

Olivia is filling water buckets for the goats.

We made 36 minutes before I had to give in to Lucas saying, "I told, I told". He was cold. In that time I did figure out I could rake the leaves out the end of the pool ten times faster than I could scoop them with the net. Woohoo! Now I just need Wee Two to take a nap before it starts raining again!

In case anyone is wondering, the pool will have a cover next Fall. I plan to put two 30x60 tarps together to cover it. Not a perfect solution, but about the best I can think of for this kind of set up. If you have any better ideas feel free to share.

That face may not be having fun but it sure is cute!

What about screening? That way the water could run thru, and not collect on the top.The tarps might collapse with the weight of water and leaves on them.

Today is that heavy, wet fog. Ugh!! I'm not liking it either and the dogs get wet and then want in the house. NONONONO!!
We have had some lovely days though but it always does come back to RAIN We do live on the wet side and I do have webs between my toes. LOL!!! MB

Thanks for sharing these lovely photos and your kind comments on my post earlier.

Your sky watch photo is great but this little photo of the birch and yellow leaves caught my eye, happy fall to you and your family.
