On my way to drop Nick & Cody off at school by 7:15am to catch the bus to Anchorage for a football game and get Elijah to basketball practice by 7:30am we saw this sunrise. The storms clouds to the right had just passed through town and the streets were wet. The colors were far prettier than the photo shows.
Hopefully, these clear skies are what will stay in town today.

I really want to visit Alaska sometime, especially since my friends Deb and Jake just moved up there. Deb just got hired this year as a band teacher for Anchorage Public Schools...do your kids take band?
