I decided to go with #2...a teacher. (Like I am going to post any thing naughty about myself!).
In 3rd grade we got a new teacher to Tok School. Her name was Ms. Forsmark. She was from Wyoming. Principal Hebert couldn't ever remember her name so he called her Miss Wyoming. (I think he was just flirting with her!) She was wonderful. Young and ambitious. Fun and fair. It was right then, in 3rd grade, that I decided I wanted to become a school teacher. I wanted to be her. It's been a lot of years and my memory is foggy, but I'm pretty sure we had her speak at our Senior graduation (small school....I went K-12 all in the same building. We had about 180 students, 15 in my graduating class). I did go on to study education, and I was good. When I did my student teaching my master teachers loved me. I did a little substitute teaching, but I never did make it a career. There was always this part of me that wanted to be a Mom who had lots of kids. I always wanted six. (I gave birth to five and am raising one step-son.) I don't regret not having a teaching career...there isn't a more important job than that of Mother, but I sometimes wonder if I ever would have been as good as Ms. Forsmark was.

Being a mom is the ultimate teaching career. And I bet you are plenty good. MB
