Here are more photos from our trip down the Parks Highway to Palmer (and back) last weekend for football. If you'd like to see Mt. McKinley scroll down....


10:11am and the moon shares the sky with the sun.
(Black spots are on the window...took this one on the fly!).


8:40pm A small sundog.
9:42pm The setting sun.

9:56pm Mr. Moon

I thought the black spots are dirty image sensor. :-)

The setting sun and Mr. Moon are gorgeous. I thought sunsets on Sanibel were spectacular but yours is amazing.

Great one of the moon low on the horizon. When I take pictures of the moon, they end up looking like a tiny flashlight in the sky.

You give us a veritable feast this week, the moon, a lovely sun dog,a glorious sunset as well as a most romantic moonrise. Wow.
I'll certainly scroll down to Mt. McKinley. Hubby was at Fairbanks for a while and had now you see it now you don't pics of it from his office window. Unfortunately we lost them in a major bushfire.
