Olivia turned three in December and Lucas was two in May, but neither had a party. Monday we had an Unbirthday Party for them both. It was hot and sunny, and just a lot of fun!

Emily, Elijah and Nick...you can see the pool is nowhere near full. So far Dad's hauled 7500 gallons of water (we are afraid our well water has too much iron so we are hauling city water). He put a 2000 gallon tank in the back of the dump truck. It is 8 miles down the hill. Takes 47 minutes to fill. Then about 11 miles home on flatter ground. Then about 10 minutes to dump. Altogether it is about an hour and a half for every 2000 gallons! We are guessing it is somewhere around 30,000...we might be swimming in snowflakes before it is full! :) The kids don't seem to notice it's calf deep water...they still had a lot of fun sliding down the water fall.

what a great idea! Zephryn and Tryphon are both born in the winter (december 30 and Feb 3) and I know they would love having a summer party...both of my girls are born in July and always have water parties. I should do an "unbirthday" for the boys, they would really like it i think :-)
