Gayle...Brockport is a Victorian Village on the Erie Canal. Boats go by from May to the end of October and many dock at our Welcome Center overnight and sometimes for several days. I think the price of gas is going to have an impact. We are paying around $4.15 a gallon for regular and over $5.00 for diesel. How much is gas up there? Lori

My little ones have been obsessed lately with capturing butterflies. Only problem is they usually refuse to let the go!

Beautiful butterfly! Any idea what sort it is? I love to watch them, but they can be difficult to photograph because they are always on the go, go, go!

I've never seen this little guy before. See the orange legs? It was cold out so he(she?) walked right up on my finger.

Fuel prices are crazy, aren't they? We pay $4.15 for Unleaded and $5.69 for diesel. I am seeing a lot more motercycles, mopeds and bicycles. The problem here is a lot of people haul water (in tanks in the back of the truck) so downsizing to something more economical isn't an option.

Beautiful butterfly, and it looks different as well! Seems to have thicker wings than normal butterflies ;)
