I took a little advice from
Tink on my
Projects in Progress, and have actually finished one of them! This empty sidewalk represents a day of planting little seedlings.

Nasturtiums and Petite Marigolds

A little bit of this and that...

Cauliflower and flowers

Pumpkin and Bush Beans

Broccoli and more flowers

Liliac with Alyssum

Rose Bushes (wedding present from Carole and Larry...forgot the name)

Marigolds, Radishes, Lettuce and more flowers.

Cilantro (barely up) and watermelon (that the chickens ate and I don't think will grow now)

Carrots

Peas and Sweet Peas

Nasturtiums, Asters, Morning Glory and Alyssum

Where have the strawberries gone? Going to buy new plants...only a couple are coming back.

Onions and some flowers.

Sunflowers and some other stuff.

Jack-Be-Little Pumpkins and ???(I forget!)

Petunias (yes, sad attempt at a smiley face...need more white. Should have used a different flower, too, but the stores are about sold out).

The above 27 Petunias plus the 10 plants below equals $150.

That is the very reason I tried growing from seeds. Lousy luck this year. I started a month or more late. The furnace went out several times in the night in the greenhouse shocking the plants and stunting their growth. I am so disappointed so far this season. It has been cool for the most part, my plants were just mere seedlings to begin with and nothing seems to be growing. Summer is 1/3 over and my beds look more like dirt than plants (although they do look worse in the photos than in real life). I guess there is always next year.

You go, girl! :D ::big handclapping smiley face goes here:: I love the shapes of the beds that you've laid out. And don't worry, your summer is 2/3 full, not 1/3 empty. :D

Wow! You were so busy! Everything looks wonderful. Don't worry, it will come along fine. Just takes patience.
Wow you've got everything spread out like a buffet!
