Lucas’ 6th birthday was Saturday, Cinco de Mayo. We did the birthday dinner then, but saved the party for Sunday when Dad was off work. His day started with a party at Glow Putt Alaska an indoor glow-in-the-dark miniature golf establishment.
Homer and Olivia played quite a few games.
Lucas played with his friends. It was a bummer that only two showed up (ten were invited), but he’s a cool kid and had fun anyhow.
Nick, Emily and I played together. Nick smoked us.
Half way through we had pizza delivered to our party room.
Then after some more golfing we sang and had cupcakes.
The last hole is a plinko kind of board and if you ball falls in hole 1 you win a free game and hole 2 you win a blinking magnet. Out of 12 tries Olivia and Lucas were the only two to win!
After golfing we ran home to get ready for a BBQ to continue the celebration. In the the end there were 27 of us. Good times!!
Lucas and Michael ran around and around the yard.
Rolonda with her sister. Her Grandma, Mom and niece were also with her.
The boys played whiffle ball in the front yard.
Justise, Jadyn and Emily.
Andrew and Bethany.
Grandma, Grandpa, Jen, Andrew, Jerry, Alison (you can barely see he head passed the red shirt), she’s next to Krissy, part of Jordan in black, Elijah, Homer and at the table Bethany, Matt and Nick.
There’s Ro and her mom and Tisha who is always freezing.
We had a fire later on.
Grandma Debbi got cold, too, and put on gloves. It was very windy.
Our chef.
Then everyone came in the house to sing because of the wind. Lucas got so many really nice gifts. It was a wonderful birthday and way to start (our really cold) Spring.
Boys never outgrow Legos!
